8:52 weeks of self portraits
I feel like all I've done this week is go go go go go. Work has been kicking my butt and I've been trying to balance the work stuff with the fun stuff... the scales are not very even, but I'm trying.
I managed to grab dinner and attend my first Northwestern Univ. basketball game (thanks Amanda!). That was the extent of my fun for the week... Working today, meeting up with the Chicago photobloggers in the morning then more work in the afternoon.
On a positive note... I've invested in the Canon S90 so I could have RAW in a pocket cam. So far I'm pretty impressed. I stood in Best Buy for a good 20 minutes playing with the S90 and the G11 - it was so hard to choose. The G11 has a couple extra features that I really liked, but I need the portability so the S90 seemed to fit the bill!

I've come down with ANOTHER cold. I was healthy for maybe a week and then boom - it's all back! Stuffy/runny nose, sneezing, sore throat - dang it! I know it's because I was on the plane last weekend... I always seem to pick something up in the winter months right after a flight.
I barely squeaked in my 52 week portrait this week - this pretty much sums it up though. Makes for a boring weekend! Hopefully I'll be able to breath normally by Monday.
