Retro on Roscoe
This has become on of my favorite street festivals - lots of fun vendors, food and fun. I met up with Selika, Alex and the Robinson's to walk about. Highlights from the fest... Elliot's dancing, of course, an elephant ear the size of FOUR paper plates, cute jewlery, hats and sunglasses and seeing a good old friend from Kansas, Krissie! We ran into my co-workers - first Robin, her husband and her parents then Barbara, Caryn and B's friend from Kansas ... apparently there were a few others there that I just missed too! Today was one of the first days that it actually felt like summer in Chicago .. I have high hopes for August!!

elliot and the barenaked ladies
Elliot continues to entertain us while listening to live music... those Robinson's are in trouble come the teenage/college years! This girl has no fear and really knows how to command attention. Now that the iPhone has video... they have no excuses not to get as much video of these dances as possible. Can you imagine how she will feel about her smooth moves later in life? Soooooo funny!
