card excerpt

I received my annual Christmas letter from my great Aunt - she's 85 and until the last two years was healthy and going strong like someone half her age. I loved this little paragraph ... says a lot about her and her attitude.

"I have managed to stay clear of the hospital; however I have been CT'd, XRAY'd, echo'd, pacemaker'd, bone density'd, extract'd and crown'd, but I don't feel a bit like royalty. Given that: I'm older, slower and have more wrinkles -- but they don't hurt."

I can only hope to live a healthy long life like my Aunt and her sister. They are 85 and 90 and going strong! I firmly believe it's because of their positive attitudes about life. You rarely hear a negative thing out of them.

who is generation Y?

I got this little joke today and got a little chuckle ... thought I'd share it w/you.

The Silent Generation are people born before 1946.
The Baby Boomers are people born between 1946 and 1965.
Generation X
are people born between 1965 and 1979.
Generation Y are people born between 1980 and 1995.
Why do we call the last one Generation Y
?

I did not know until now, but the cartoon below explains it eloquently... and now, you too have learned something new!
